Remember the lineart there [link] ? I colored it 
Originally done in summer 2009, then colored now using a mix of my awesome Copic markers and Prisma pencils.
I wasn't going for the lined thing style - neither was I going to add a tree, note, but I added the tree, and found it difficult to part Link's glove and the trunk. So I outlined it, then outlined the whole thing and it ended up like that.
No reference whatsoever
Spent an hour on the lineart and an hour and a half coloring it
